 Hi all! This is Minority Languaging! 

Minority Languaging is a project started in May 2022 with the primary objective to create a community of minority language speakers or people who might be interested in them. It started on Instagram as @minoritylanguaging and was later retaken as @minoritylanguaging2 due to some mysterious and unexplained issues with Meta Community Guidelines. This blog, along with my Twitter account @EukeneFL, is a complement to the Instagram page.

This is a project in progress where I will be uploading informative posts, reflections, quizzes, and reels, among many other stuff. Please, feel welcome to follow me on Instagram, where the epicenter of this madness is located. In this blog, I will upload mostly the reflections and educational info I post there.

About me:

I am a Basque speaker of the Southern Basque Country. Hence, I am bilingual in Basque and Spanish. I am currently a PhD candidate in Sociolinguistics at the University of Miami (USA). My research topics are language contact and identities in minorized contexts, so you will hear about it from time to time!

(As you may have guessed by now, I am NOT an English native speaker)
